6 ? kemet electronics corporation ? kemet tower ? one east broward boulevard s e0207_mdcs ? 8/28/2018 fort lauderdale, fl 33301 usa ? 954-766-2800 ? www.kemet.com handling precautions precautions for product storage current sensors should be stored in normal working environments. while the sensors are quite robust in other environments, solderability will be degraded by exposure to high temperatures, high humidity, corrosive atmospheres, and long-term storage. kemet recommends that maximum storage temperature not exceed 80c and atmospheres should be free of chlorine and s ulfur-bearing compounds. temperature fuctuations should be minimized to avoid condensation on the parts. also, avoid s torage near strong magnetic felds as this might magnetize the product and could cause its characteristics to change. l imit ambient magnetic felds to 50e or less. for optimized solderability, current sensors stock should be used preferably within 12 months of receipt. before using magnetic direct current sensors ? d o not drop or apply any other mechanical stress as it may change the performance characteristics. ? do not exceed 260c for 10 seconds when soldering, this is the maximum heat resistance grade of these sensors. use a l ow-corrosion type fux when soldering. ? d o not apply strong static electricity, as the circuit uses ics, this could cause damage. take static electricity precautions when handling. export control for customers in japan for products that are controlled items subject to the foreign exchange and foreign trade law of japan, the export license specifed by the law is required for export. for customers outside japan sensors should not be used or sold for use in the development, production, stockpiling or utilization of any conventional w eapons or mass-destructive weapons (nuclear weapons, chemical or biological weapons, or missiles), or any other weapons. current sensors ? la12, magnetic direct current sensor
